Reformatted Images
Images from a stacked image set may be reformatted for other planes.
A stacked image set is any series of images taken sequentially
along a common axis of the patient body without the patient moving
between slices. The images must be located relative to each other
and must be coplanar. But the image size may change in the series
such as changing from a body to a head technique. Pixels may
be interpolated between slices.
The popup up control for selecting a reformatted image. A further
rotation control is available for rotating from a transverse,
coronal, or sagittal view. The intersection of the proposed reformatted
plane with images of the image set, including other reformatted images,
may be shown.
